Terms of Service
Who we are
BRIF (brif.live) is operated by Bor Briščik, AI agencija, Slovenia (the "Provider"). Contact: info@aiagencija.si. By creating a brief or an account you agree to these terms.
What BRIF does
BRIF prepares research briefs about public figures and organisations for podcast hosts, producers and people preparing for meetings. Briefs are generated by artificial intelligence from publicly available sources (podcast episodes, interviews, articles, company pages). Every claim in a brief links to the source it came from. BRIF checks its own output and marks what it could not verify, but it can still be wrong, incomplete or out of date. You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on, especially before saying it on air.
Accounts and the free brief
- You sign in with Google or a one-time e-mail code. Keep access to that e-mail address secure; actions taken from it count as yours.
- Each account receives one free brief and one free meeting or networking card. Free briefs are limited per day across all users; when the day's allowance is used up, the request waits for the next day.
- One person, one account. Accounts created to obtain additional free briefs may be closed.
Paid plans and single briefs
- Prices are shown on the pricing page in euros, including any applicable VAT where required. Plans renew monthly or yearly until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and the plan runs until the end of the paid period.
- Unused briefs carry over to the next billing period, up to the plan's monthly number.
- A brief is a digital service delivered immediately after you request it. By requesting a brief you ask us to start before the 14-day withdrawal period ends and acknowledge that, once delivered, the right of withdrawal for that brief no longer applies (Article 16(m), EU Directive 2011/83). If a brief fails to generate, it is not charged or is credited back.
- Prices may change; changes apply from the next renewal and are announced by e-mail at least 14 days in advance.
Acceptable use
- Use briefs to prepare for conversations: interviews, meetings, events. Do not use BRIF to harass, stalk, profile private individuals, or to publish claims about a person without checking them.
- Do not resell briefs, scrape the service, or try to work around limits and the sign-in.
- People who do not want briefs prepared about them can ask for removal on the data-removal page; we honour such requests.
Your content and ours
Briefs you generate are yours to use for your own preparation and your show; you may share them with your co-host, producer or guest. The BRIF name, design, prompts and software remain the Provider's. Sample briefs published on brif.live about public figures are illustrative; those people are not connected with BRIF and do not endorse it.
Availability and liability
BRIF depends on third-party services (AI models, transcription, hosting, e-mail) and public sources. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every brief will reach every source. To the extent permitted by law, the Provider's liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the brief or plan concerned in the preceding three months. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or rights consumers have under mandatory law.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes, law, disputes
We may update these terms; material changes are announced by e-mail or on the site before they apply. Slovenian law applies. Consumers in the EU may also rely on the mandatory protections of their own country. Court venue for disputes is Ljubljana, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
